How I Hit $1k MRR With Redesignr.ai (After Paying $400 for a Design I Didn’t Like)
A few months back, I hired a UI designer to create a single project page for me. It cost $400… and I still wasn’t happy with the result.

Step 1 — MVP in 2 Weeks
Like I always do (bad habit 😅), I bought the domain before writing a single line of code. Two weeks later, the MVP for Redesignr.ai was live.
Step 2 — Marketing Experiments
Here’s what I tried:
Reddit: Got early feedback and some initial users.
Google Ads: Too expensive, burned cash fast.
AI directories: Cost ~$1,000 to list in several — this ended up being worth it.
Step 3 — The Growth
It wasn’t overnight. There were weeks where it felt like nothing was happening. But I kept iterating, adding features, and improving onboarding.
Now, Redesignr.ai has crossed $1k MRR. Still early days, but the momentum feels real.
